Under 8s Yellow - Seymour Villa 5 Afewee 2

A fantastic win today in testing conditions for the stars of tomorrow! Afewee are a tough and well-established club so we knew this game would be a tough contest. After some early frustrations, the team started to gain some momentum.

The team grew into the game and confidence was high.

Lennie in goal was a safe pair of hands and Kayleb was causing all kinds of trouble with his constant harassing! Ending the game with a hat-trick. ( third in two games )

Leo was really unlucky with a fantastic effort

Luca was breaking up play and creating chances with his vision. Andre was focused on his defensive duties and has huge potential he will be a lion in this team.

Rowan was everywhere today and scored a great goal. New member Conner is a great addition, not afraid of anything and got a well-deserved goal.

Man of the match went to Lennie, safe hands and made key saves at vital times to keep the boys in the game. Well done Lennie. Great to have Freddie and Harrison on hand today.

And a big thanks to all the parents, your encouragement is vital.

Roll on next weekend.
